  We went along to John Lewis Welwyn and had a long chat with their nursery advisor about all the different pushchairs they stocked. There was a wide range of choice and being John Lewis the prices were the best you could find on the high street. Because the advisor does not work on commission she gave honest opinions and advice on all the different brands in store and even spoke about a couple of others that were not there. She should us how they folded down and spoke about other practical things like what storage was available and the cost of extra items like footmuffs and sun umbrellas. Once we had whittled the decision down to two we took them out of the nursery department and round the store and then out into the carpark for a test drive so that we could get an idea of how easy they were to turn and also have a go at collapsing them ourselves. Finally we were given a voucher to go and get a drink and cake each at the John Lewis restaurant so that we could mull over what we had learnt and make a decision!
