Pushchairs - Buggies and strollers

Maclaren, Techno XT

Maclaren, Techno XT review

RRP: £195.00
Weight: 8.3kg
Extras: Hood with UV sun protection, cosytoes and raincover

The Maclaren Techno XT is a really great pushchair for town-based families who need to get on and off public transport without scowls from bus drivers or mutterings from other passengers.  You can fold it with one hand and has a carry handle.  The Techno XT is both snuggly for a newborn (with head hugger) and spacious for a toddler which extends its natural useability beyond many others in this category. The handle is height-adjustable which allows even the tallest dad to push with comfort.  The wheels swivel easily but can also be locked across rougher cobbles.  And the seat has four positions including the lie flat with a leg extension.

Wonderful buggy! Lightweight, easy to move around a town, fits boot easily, grate if You travel by plane. Not so good if You go shopping by foot, becouse of small shopping basket ;) I really like the adjustable hood, so the sun doesn't reach babies face, even in lay position; and handy pockets on the back.

This is by far the best pushchair i have tried and tested, its great value for money, easy to use, lightweight, stylish, and great for warrenty. I would recommened this product to anyone who wanted a stroller with all the above features.

This is far and away the best buggy I have ever owned. It is lightweight and compact and looks great too. The fact that the handles are adjustable means that both me and my partner can comfortably push it around (although my partner would rather not as it is quite a girly pink)! My daughter loves it as it has four reclining back positions so she can sit up and catch all the action or lie right back if we are spending far too long shopping and she would rather snooze! It is also very easy to put up. It is umberella folding and can be done with one hand which is extremely practical for all us multi-tasking Mums. It also features a built in sun visor and a viewing window so you can keep an eye on your little angel while you are strolling along. Overall it really is brilliant and whilst it may cost more than other buggies in my humble opinion it is worth every single penny.

My favourite lightweight stroller is the Maclaren Techno XT. Not only does it look stylish but it is so easy to get around with. It has a decent sized shopping basket, and two handy pouches on the back. It's lightweight enough for me to carry it down stairs with my 18 month old in it. I think it's just a fab stroller all round.

This trusty number has lasted me since 2007 I used it for my first child and now I use it for my 4 month old baby girl. Its certainly racked up some miles and there isnt a mark on it and the wheels arenot very worn, considering I walk 8 miles everyday with it. Easy to push, comfortable on the hands, folds nicely. Was recommended to me by a friend, glad I made the decision to get one too. Easy to control too!! Especially for me as I am good at crashing into things with a pushchair, yet this is slim enough that I only have the odd bump now!

was given this as a gift for my youngest of his grandparents, and found it really easy to use especially when getting on buses and the folding down with one hand took some practice but once i had the hang of it was really simple to do. good manouvability and easy to push, probably one of the best buggys ive had and ive had a fair few with all my brood.

Was given this by a friend who had only had it a few months, and it has been great! A really hard waring buggy. Good solid wheels and nice and narrow for when you are out shopping

I can't really fault this pushchair - I've had mine for 3yrs and commute 3 days a week - in and out of the tube and buses. It's still going strong, and I've got no complaints.
