The Portland Hospital Pregnancy Open Day

The Portland Hospital open day provides an ideal opportunity for parents-to-be and medical professionals to visit the UK’s largest, private maternity unit. Guests are offered guided tours of the hospital’s facilities including the delivery suites, maternity wards and nurseries.

Visitors can also take a look at the imaging services to see examples of some amazing 3D/4D ultrasound technology including moving and still images of babies whilst in the womb.

Consultants, midwives and breastfeeding specialists are on hand throughout the day to meet visitors and offer one-to-one free of charge advice. During the day mums-to-be also have the opportunity to take a free ‘Bump Photo’ courtesy of Imagethirst photographers* and can take-away a special goodie bag with exclusive products from leading suppliers and includes useful maternity information.

The open day is free to all who expectant mothers and their partners. The Pregnancy Open Day provides a wonderful opportunity for visitors to find out valuable information about pregnancy and birthing, meet the staff, midwives and consultants and tour the hospital’s facilities.
