The team at Ski Famille make a skiing holiday with young children simple and fun. Taking young children to the mountains can seem a daunting prospect, even for experienced snowsports enthusiasts. However, if you choose the right accommodation and childcare it can be a hugely enjoyable break for parents and children alike.

Totally family focused

Ski Famille was started 20 seasons ago by two couples with toddlers who wanted to continue enjoying their passion for the mountains whilst ensuring that the children were also having a great time. A combination of well located high quality family chalets and tailored in-chalet childcare continue to achieve this aim today. .

High quality chalets

All chalets are chosen for their proximity to the slopes and their family friendly layout and facilities. Parents don’t need to compromise on comfort though. Ski Famille properties are among the best in their resorts, with many offering hot-tubs or saunas as well as high standards of decor and stunning views. Families can book one or two rooms or put together a larger group to take over a whole property.

Flexible inclusive childcare

Good quality childcare is central to ensuring children enjoy themselves on holiday and parents can properly relax free of either guilt or anxiety. Carers come to the chalet you are staying in and use this home from home environment as their base. Ski Famille creates a very diffident atmosphere to that found in impersonal crèches and disorganised kids clubs.  The company knows from experience that if children are happy the parents will be too.

Dedicated staff

Chidlcare staff are all chosen for their dedication to ensuring that children have a fun, safe and stimulating time in the mountains. All are recruited in the UK and undergo thorough CRB and reference checks. The majority hold a formal childcare qualification and are assisted by experienced helpers.  The whole childcare team understands that their flexibility is key to helping families enjoy their precious holiday time.

World class ski resorts

Ski Famille offers holidays in the resorts of Les Gets and Reberty Village. Les Gets is the classic picture postcard Alpine resort with a bustling local community and pretty tree lined ski runs.  Reberty Village is an attractive purpose built resort sitting at 2000m in the world class 3 Valleys Ski area. The two are very different but between them they offer something to suit all families, from beginners with babies to experienced skiers with older children capable of exploring the mountains at speed.
