Feather Down Farms are essentially camping holidays without having to assemble a tent. Each farm location (across the UK, Holland and France) hosts a few rather up-market canvas structures and gives visitors access to washing/laundry facilities as well as selling farm produce via an on-site store. Each tent has a traditional oven, provides fluffy duvets and a cold water tap. Surrouding you are paddocks of friendly animals with a dawn chorus to match. Some have bike rental facilities, so you and can get out and about a bit to see the surrounding countryside too. Exactly the right balance of "roughing it" and "home comforts".
