Dulwich, London
Dulwich Park was formally landscaped in 1890 and was regularly visited by Queen Mary (one of the four gates is named after her). Families are treated to the exceptionally child-friendly Pavilion Cafe, a super playground, boating lake (where you can hire boats in the summer) and the novelty of hiring banana bikes from London Rucumbents. A number of children's events are hosted in the Francis Peek Centre (located in the "free" car park).
