Babaloo, whose mother and baby products are all organic and fairly traded, has created the world's first 100% bamboo-fibre terry nappy - deeply soft, handmade in England and three times as absorbent as trad cotton nappies. The Babaloo nappies, which were a year in the making (to allow for rigorous testing and fine-tuning), come either with velcro fastening (from £8 each) or in a pack of five with seven liners and five Nappi-Nippa fasteners (from £35.50).
