Who we are
Studio Deidre is a London UK based portrait studio specialising in maternity and baby photography, as well as child and family portraiture.
We focus on capturing the special moments in our lives that disappear so quickly: the gorgeous changes in a woman's body during pregnancy, the tininess of a newborn baby in their first few weeks of life, or the milestones of an ever-changing child.
Our business is personal. With a background in photography, fashion, and top-tier corporate management, our studio is unique: we understand discerning clients with busy schedules who demand the very best, and go above and beyond to meet their needs. For us, the experience of the shoot, from an initial consultation through to delivery of wall prints for your home, is as much a product of our studio as the photographs themselves.
How we work
To keep things simple, we charge a flat rate of £800 for individual portrait sessions. This includes the shoot, the initial processing and preparation of proofs for you to choose from, a set of prints (chosen from a selection of different sized packages), and a keepsake CD. We focus on print-based packages not digital packages because of the rarity and value of properly printed images.
In addition to your initial package, you can supplement with a range of products and services, including mounting, cards, and digital files.
We find, in general, our clients spend between £1000 and £1800 in total, for the shoot, printing, and related products.

Where we are
Our studio, in Kensington & Chelsea (SW7, London) is tranquil and inspiring, with all the facilities of a home. It is also extremely convenient and accessible. We are located a short walk from High Street Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations and have street parking out front.
When to book
We operate all year round, and while we mostly take advance bookings, feel free to ring and check as we may have last minute availability too. We shoot on any day of the week and weekend, and only book one shoot in a day, to ensure we give you our fullest attention.

Had a fantastic experience at Studio Deidre. Deidre is a wonderfully talented photographer, with the patience of a saint. She literally spent hours with my 13 day old twins, ensuring that we got the best shots of each of them, both individually and together. I love the final result prints, which now hang proudly on my walls at home - I treasure them. Deidre is a consummate professional and the ultimate perfectionist who takes enormous pride in her work. I would recommend Studio Deidre to anybody without hesitation. -

Getting professional photo's taken of our newborn baby daughter was our Christmas present to each other. After much research (and there are many photographers in London!) we came across Studio Deidre. Our first impression was that the web site was both professional and comprehensive, We obviously liked her work, and, in particular, the baby photograph's. Then we met Deidre in person for the maternity photographs, which turned out really beautiful. Within a week of our baby girl's birth, we returned and Deidre spent an entire day until early evening, taking many, many stunning photographs. It was fun and we all enjoyed the experience. Deidre has a magic way with babies (or at least our baby!) and she made it a very special day for us all. You only know if you have a good photographer, of course, once you see the end result and we were blown away by the stunning pictures she took of our little family. There were so many lovely images to choose from, we found it hard to decide which ones to get printed. Eventually, however, we had a large number of prints made, which now adorn many rooms of our house - our beautiful baby immortalized forever as little pieces of beautiful art. Deidre's dedication to perfecting her art and the passion she consistently brings is inspiring. Her studio offers a intimate and comfortable atmosphere and has been specially adapted for the comfort and entertainment of babies and toddlers which help enormously is making what was a long day very enjoyable. It's location in London is central and the orientation of Deidre's studio is perfect for lighting purposes. These photographs have captured some very special memories of our life. The reason why our baby's photo's are so very special to us is because they have managed to capture some fleeting and very memorable moments in our baby's development. Our daughter looks like a sleeping angel. Working with Deidre is such a pleasant experience that makes our memory of the day very special. If you are considering newborn photo's don't look further than Studio Deidre.You will nor regret either the time nor the investment. -
