See what other parents are saying about Steam Train in Brownhills, WS8:
We tend to go to their Christmas Santa Special. We had been twice. The last time we went is in december 2011. They are good as it was warm and cosy in the train and children love the decoration in the train. They get to take a train ride (about 20-30 minutes and leave on time), meet the Santa at his grotto and presents! We also get tea, pie and chocolate at the end! I think they are run by volunteers. They are not opened during monday-friday except summer/school holiday. Always check their website. Also they dont start running till 11 am on weekends. The train ride is from the main station and we stopped at the next station B for more passagers and then reached the end of the tracks. The train then detached their engine and move towards the back of the caritage. And then again they go back to station B and then to the main station. During these times, if your children wont keen to look outside (nothing much to look), you have to find somethings else to entertain them! it can be diffcult if you got one child love train and the other hate it! i had to bring snack for them in the train to keep them entertain. Free parking.
