The baby massage course is run over four weeks and lasts for about 60 minutes . The course is entirely baby led, so you do whatever it is you need to meet your baby’s needs, feed your baby, change them. If your child is sleeping there are spare dolls to practise on. We learn a different part of the body and we review the strokes. The massage sequence includes: the legs, feet, stomach, chest, arms, hands, face and back. There is a special wind and colic routine and some simple gentle movements to help with baby’s co-ordination. Incorporated into the massage are some rhymes and songs. There are also some suggestions on how you can adapt the massage as your child grows. We go through relevant theory topics and there is time set aside for informal discussion. Classes are relaxed, fun and it’s a great way to meet other mums! Private 1:1, Groups and Classes for parents / carers to learn to massage their babies. Suitable for babies from 5 weeks up to 1 year old.
