The Abbey School

The Abbey Early Years Centre provides a stimulating and caring environment for 3-5 year olds. Ofsted recently recognised this by awarding the Nursery ‘outstanding’ in every category. There is a before and after school care programme and Holiday Club which are very popular.

The Abbey Junior School offers an excellent all-round education and the atmosphere is friendly, lively, purposeful and fun. The teachers are passionate about enriching the curriculum and there are many visiting workshops and school trips, including residential trips from Year 3 upwards. Girls have specialist teachers for ICT, Science and French. Games, PE, dance or swimming are timetabled every day and there are competitive fixtures against other schools.
