An amazing opportunity to see animals from all over the world enjoying incredible freedom, and to which you have wonderful access! The animal park is also home to two charities, The Wildlife Protection Foundation, and The Sumatran Tiger Trust. There are newly built u201Csafari walkwaysu201D enabling you to walk out onto the tiger enclosures u2013 and during the day there is a steady timetable of things going on. Animals include wallabies and kangaroos, antelopes and lemurs, tigers and cheetahs, spectacled bears and the Primate House. There are viewing platforms too, a newly refurbished picnic site and an adventure playground for toddlers. The café serves children's meals, there are baby-changing facilities and the whole site is pushchair accessible. Open all year round from 10am to 5pm.

We strongly recommend you ring South Lakes Animal Park before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. Please also be aware that if South Lakes Animal Park hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
