Lots of animals to feed and look at. Excellent timetable of events which happen in both the morning and afternoon so you are unlikely to miss anything. Bottle feeding lambs and watching sheep being milked particularly good. Tractor rides were free when we visited (March) but they might charge in peak season. Nice outdoor play areas (one for toddlers) and an excellent zip wire and mini 'rollercoaster' which even our 2 year old loved (on Daddy's knee!) Excellent indoor soft play area, indoor and outdoor picnic areas and lovely cafe (with small play area) which again was very reasonably priced. Lovely shop and upstairs a nice craft type shop for adults.
We strongly recommend you ring Eden Ostrich World before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Eden Ostrich World, www.ostrich-world.com, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Eden Ostrich World hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
