A premier narrow gauge steam railway in the village of Hesketh Bank which is located between Preston and Southport. A fun trip out for the whole family. There are special events throughout the year including Halloween specials, BBC Children in Need rides and Santa specials throughout December, where kids will be treated to a present from Santa and food and drinks will be provided.  

We strongly recommend you ring West Lancashire Railway before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for West Lancashire Railway, www.westlancs.org, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if West Lancashire Railway hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
