The Old Loco Shed, Bridge Road, Horsehay, Telford, Shropshire

Located 20 miles west of Wolverhampton, Telford Steam Railway is a preserved railway operated by a small and friendly team of volunteers on Sundays and Bank Holidays from Easter to the end of September. In addition to the railway there is a pond, play area, tea room, gift shop and a miniature railway in operation. For rail enthusiast there is a model railway. They do birthday parties and Santa specials run in December. 

We strongly recommend you ring Telford Steam Railway before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. Please also be aware that if Telford Steam Railway hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
