Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens is where world-renowned gardener, Alan Bloom combined his love of plants with his love of steam engine. The setting offers a wide range of steam attractions set in 6 acres of pretty gardens. There are 3 different narrow-gauge lines; the Nursery Railway, which passes a lake and woodland; the Waveney Valley Railway, which run over water-meadows; and the Garden Railway. Open daily 10.30am-5pm.
The steam museum host a number of special events for young children especially during the summer months. At the end of August Thomas and his friends will be taking a trip to the museum and Mike the Knight will make an appearance on Sunday 16th September. Kids can bring their teddy bears for the Teddy Bear Picnic on the 2nd September and dress up in their scariest costumes and enjoy the BBQ at the Halloween rail evenings in November. When its cold outside wrap up warm and come meet Santa at the Santa Specials that will run throughout December.
