Train enthusiasts (both big and small) will love a visit to the world's largest railway museum.  There are three giant halls full of incredible trains and small children will be enchanted by the miniature train collections. With over 100 locomotives and art, posters and various items dedicated to all things railway. Open 10am-6pm daily with free admission (except to special events). 

We strongly recommend you ring National Railway Museum before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for National Railway Museum, www.nrm.org.uk, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if National Railway Museum hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
