A 16 mile narrow gauge steam train ride through the Welsh countryside. The distance between Welshpool and Llanfair Caerenion is 8 miles and it takes 50 minutes each way. As you travel through you will see the Bawny Valley and pass by the River Bawny all which can be viewed from the Hungarian and Austrian coaches balconies. At the Llanfair Caerenion there is a shop and a tea room that sells hot and cold snacks and whenever you are ready you can ride the train back to Welshpool. Kids under 3 ride for free.
