Take a ride through the Sussex countryside on the heritage steam train at The Bluebell Railway runs daily until 4th November 2012 and is on a 9 mile track between Sheffield Park, Horsted Keynes and Kingscote. You can visit the railway whether its raining or sunny as it runs underground and have sheltered shop and restaurant making it a great way to spend those rainy holidays and weekends. Their steam-hauled trains run daily until 4th November. You will find homemade food at the restaurant at Sheffield Park Station and throughout the year there are Fish and Chip evening. During August the Bluebell railway will be hosting their August Fun Days where kids can enjoy Punch and Judy shows throughout the day. During half term kids go for a pound and Santa comes to town for their Santa Specials in December.
We strongly recommend you ring Bluebell Railway before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. Please also be aware that if Bluebell Railway hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
