The Station, Buckfastleigh, Devon

Located just off the A38 you can take a train ride along the the picturesque valley of River Dart between Buckfastleigh and Totnes. They also have Totnes Rare Breeds and Dartmoor Otters & Buckfast Butterflies. There is a refreshment room located on the site that offers breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and you can visit the railways gift shop and Santa specials in December. 

We strongly recommend you ring South Devon Railway before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for South Devon Railway to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if South Devon Railway hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
