Aldenham Country Park is a beautiful area set in 100 acres, surrounded by a 60 acre lake and a perfect destination for a family day out. You'll find lots of wildlife including rare breed animals, woodland, small-scale faming, pony rides, natural walks and lots of educational activities throughout the year.  There's a re-creation of Winnie the Pooh's 100 Acre Wood which pre-schoolers will adore and is free to visit.  Also it's just 12 miles from central London.

We strongly recommend you ring Aldenham Country Park before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices.
