A gracious stately home with 1,000 acres of gardens and parkland for children to roam in. The Children's Activity section has masses of space for the kids to play in. There's a miniature railway, a woodland adventure playground (suitable for toddlers too) and a yew tree hedge maze, with giant games up for grabs in the courtyard. Going around the house is a little more formal, but activity sheets are provided for children so that they can spot things as they are guided through the house. Children's menus are available in the café and restaurant, and there is a baby-changing and feeding room. Buggy/pram access outside to the main children's attractions is easy on gravel paths. Open April-September, 11am-6.30, (1pm-5pm for the house) on set days: check the website or telephone for further information.
We strongly recommend you ring Weston Park before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Weston Park, www.western-park.com, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Weston Park hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
