The Leaping Hare, Stanton, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

The gardens of Wyken are quintessential Suffolk - patchwork green herb gardens, knot gardens, kitchen garden, old roses, ancient woodland walks and an Elizabethan manor house, and since 1988 a vineyard. So there is lots of space to run around and enjoy a classic country garden. Garden open 1st April - 30th Sept from 2-6pm Mon-Sun (closed Saturdays). Entry is £2.50 with children free. Dogs welcome on the lead on woodland walks, but not in the gardens. Restaurant, café and shop.

We strongly recommend you ring Wyken Hall before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Wyken Hall, www.wykenvineyards.co.uk, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Wyken Hall hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
