Since opening in March 2000 The London Eye has become an iconic London structure. Each capsule takes on average 30 minutes to complete a full rotation and on a clear day you can see landmarks over 25 miles away. Pushchairs that fold up can be taken on the wheel or left inside the ticket office. Children under 4yrs are free.
We strongly recommend you ring The London Eye before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for The London Eye, www.londoneye.com, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. It is cheaper to buy tickets online and/or buy a ticket to another London attraction such as London Acquarium (literally next door), London Dungeons (too scary for under 5s), Madame Tussauds and London Zoo.
