Living Coasts offers a different kind of visit that takes you on a journey around the coastlines of the world without leaving Torquay! See a range of fascinating coastal creatures from, loud and loveable penguins to the fun and fabulous fur seals. And don't forget the colourful puffins and sea ducks - they're all at home in this unique environment. While birds fly freely overhead, you can walk in the open air past sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and even a peaceful estuary for our wading birds. Then descend into our underwater viewing areas where you can see the seals and diving birds at their best. Open everyday (except Christmas Day) from 10am.

We strongly recommend you ring Living Coasts before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Living Coasts, www.livingcoasts.org.uk, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Living Coasts hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
