The only combined Falconry and Aquatic Centre in the UK, each one run as separate entities. There are Falconry Displays every day from Easter to the end of September when you can watch the falconers fly several different species of birds of prey (eagles, hawks, owls), and you can then wander around The Avaries and see the birds at closer range. Within the same site, is the Waterlife Centre with over 40 tanks of marine and tropical fish and marine invertebrates. This is essentially a shop but it gives you facts about how to look after the fish and if interested, you can buy all the equipment you need there
We strongly recommend you ring Cheshire Waterlife & Falconry Centre before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Cheshire Waterlife & Falconry Centre, www.cheshirefalconry.com, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Cheshire Waterlife & Falconry Centre hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
