The Attenborough Nature Centre is a haven for wildlife. Built in an old quarry, it offers woods, meadows, lakes and twisting pathways to wander down and explore. There are monthly Tiny Tots sessions with games, activities and crafts, as well as a Wild Kids group. (Book ahead for both of these.) Nursery groups use the facilities for educational sessions and during the holidays there is a club for 4+ year olds. Open 10am-5pm.

We strongly recommend you ring Attenborough Nature Centre before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Attenborough Nature Centre, www.attenboroughnaturecentre.co.uk, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Attenborough Nature Centre hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
