A wonderful opportunity to u201Cgo tropicalu201D all year round when visiting this oasis of exotic plants and shrubs, birds and animals. An amazing number of things to see including the Tropical House (filled with exotic and unusual plants including a banana plant and a coffee tree), the Zoo Room with monkeys, skunks, large snakes, a Cayman crocodile, the Jungle Floor where glass tanks house various lizards, smaller snakes, scorpions, cockroaches, and the Tunnel of Underwater Life where you walk under an enormous tank filled with different salt and freshwater fish, turtles, there are sharks etc. Every Sunday there are set feeding times for various combinations of animals (ring for current news) and on Saturdays (more often at half terms and holidays) there is a u201CMeet the Keeperu201D session enabling children to handle and observe at first hand, various different creatures. The Café in the Palms Tropical Oasis has children's snacks and baby-changing facilities. Open from mid-March to mid-September from 10am to 6pm, and on Sundays from 10am to 5pm.
We strongly recommend you ring The Palms Tropical Oasis before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for The Palms Tropical Oasis, www.stapeleywg.com, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if The Palms Tropical Oasis hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
