10 acres of landscaped grounds highlighting the delights of organic gardening, with lots of flowers, shrubs, a wild flower meadow, a rose garden and blue seas of lavender - all of which provides a safe haven for wildlife. The Vegetable Kingdom has interactive displays on how vegetables grow, how they are used in foods, and in the play area there is a little kitchen with toy vegetables for toddlers to play with. Quiz sheets are provided for the garden trails, and in the Children's Garden there are little plants and flowers that children can grow, a herb garden, willow tunnels and arches, a little house with musical instruments inside. For specific school-holiday and half-term activities, check their website. The award-winning restaurant has children's menus, there is a gift shop, and baby-changing facilities. Good pram and buggy access. Open daily from 9am-5pm.
