Stunning 18th century house set in 300 acres of beautiful parkland – what better place for the setting for a family picnic. If you visit in late spring then take a lakeside walk through the glorious rhododendrons and azaleas. Inside the house is an extensive collection of Chippendale furniture along with a beautiful doll’s house (no touching!) whilst outside, the Obelisk Park is now open to the public. Tea rooms with children’s menu, adventure playground. Open 11am March to December (closed Mon, Tues).
We strongly recommend you ring Nostell Priory before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Nostell Priory, www.nationaltrust.org.uk, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Nostell Priory hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
