Sewerby Hall is an 18th century Grade I listed house set in 50 acres of landscaped gardens in a cliff top location with breathtaking views of the Yorkshire coast. Within the grounds there’s a zoo – look out for the Humboldt penguins swimming in their newly refurbished pool; wonderful woodland walks, an adventure playground and land train. Plenty of picnic areas, tea room. The gardens are open all year.
We strongly recommend you ring Sewerby Hall and Gardens before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Sewerby Hall and Gardens, www.eastriding.gov.uk/sewerby, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Sewerby Hall and Gardens hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
