There is a new Guide Book for Young Visitors (£1.50) which is full of interesting facts for them to find in the house and colouring to complete when they get home. A Woodland Trail around the park is designed to stimulate awareness of the woodland environment, its plants and animals and the need to protect their habitat, as well as the best adventure Playground in the South East. Throughout the school holidays children will find lots to do with the special activity trails, workshops and events organized at no extra cost. See their website for seasonal events.

We strongly recommend you ring Penshurst Place before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Penshurst Place, www.penshurstplace.com, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Penshurst Place hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
