Under the Greenwood Tree is a specialist independent children's bookshop, toyshop and cafe providing a one-stop-solution for busy mums in Clapham Old Town.  And being a stone's throw from a great paddling pool on the corner of Clapham Common this is a great place to come for children's literary events such as storyreading on Saturdays (11am), author events during holidays and half-terms and other craft activities.

The store was opening in early 2011 by Sarah Greenwood, who spent 16 years at Penguin, so her knowledge of children's publishing and what book for which child is excellent.  Open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 11am-5pm.
