The Seven Sisters Sheep Centre is home to a collection of over 40 different species of sheep, including many older breeds that you would not see in today’s commercial sheep farming. They have a few other farm animals (pigs, chicks, goats and rabbits) and a tearoom serving a good Sussex Cream Tea. They open in March-Early May for lambing, and again between July and September for Shearing (Closed May-June). Check the website for opening times.
We strongly recommend you ring Seven Sisters Sheep Centre before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Seven Sisters Sheep Centre, www.sheepcentre.co.uk, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Seven Sisters Sheep Centre hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
