Hardy's Animal Farm offers an interesting and fun way to view a modern-day farm at work and is a great way to learn about the history and traditions of the countryside. There are plenty of animals for the children to meet including; sheep, cattle, goats, ducks, chicks and hens. They can watch the pigs and piglets through a specially glazed viewing area. Then while the children are letting off steam in the adventure playground, you can enjoy a drink in the tearoom (also serves meals.) Opens at Easter untill the beginning of October, 10am to 6pm daily.
We strongly recommend you ring Hardys Animal Farm before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Hardys Animal Farm to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Hardys Animal Farm hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
