Children are encouraged to handle and feed the animals at this friendly, farmily-run centre. For older children interested in learning more about ancient and unusual breeds, there are fact sheets available. Picnic area. Open daily from 10.30am.
We strongly recommend you ring Waterfowl Sanctuary and Children's Farm before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Waterfowl Sanctuary and Children's Farm to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Waterfowl Sanctuary and Children's Farm hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.

This waterfowl animal sanctuary is a great afternoon out for all ages including mum and dad! they have lots of cute baby animals that everyone can enjoy holding. They also sell rabbits, Guinea-pigs and chickens, so if your looking for a new pet then it's a great place to buy one as they take great care of them and they have all been well handled from a young age. You can take a pic nic and they have a play area for the kids, they have ponies and a donkey, sheep and loads of ducks, chickens etc that you can also feed. It's a lovely family run farm, that doesn't cost the earth to go to.
