Friendly farm with lots to keep little ones amused.  There are lots of different animals, some of which you can feed and make friends with in the small animals enclosure.  You can sit back and relax in a tractor and trailer or pony and trap ride – or if you’re feeling more adventurous there are also pony rides.  New in 2007 was the Farmer James funbarn – a massive indoor soft play centre.  Picnic areas, nature trails, gift shop and tea rooms.  Sign up for their newsletter to keep up-to-date with family activities throughout the year.  Farmer James is open all year round Tues-Sun from 10am; the Farm itself is open Easter-Oct and at selected other weekends – see the website for full details.

We strongly recommend you ring St Leonard before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for St Leonard, www.stleonardsfarm.co.uk, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if St Leonard hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
