An absolute gem of an organic working farm and visitor centre and somewhere your children will be kept amused for hours. Set in beautiful Swaledale you can meet lots of animals and take a guided tour of the farm u2013 at 11am and 2pm. There's a lot to do from collecting eggs or holding a chick to making friends with their rescue animals in the summer months (normally Border collie puppies, pigs and kittens). If that's not enough then there are pony rides, a play area and nature trails. There's a lovely café serving organic food as well as a gift shop. Open April onwards from 11am (generally closed Monday and Friday) u2013 check the website or phone for current opening times as they are subject to change.

We strongly recommend you ring Hazel Brow Farm before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices.
