Chatsworth House, dubbed the 'Palace of the Peaks' is a stunning family home. Set in a 105 acre garden and vast grounds there is so much for the children to see and do. On a warm day the little ones can explore the maze or even paddle in the cascade. Younger visitors and families will particularly enjoy the farmyard with its wide variety of animals and their babies! There are milking demonstrations and daily animal handling sessions at the farm while in the woodland playground the more adventurous can test their skill on the towers, ropewalks and spiral slides. There are seasonal displays and activities on offer including; new life weeks, rural skills week, harvest week and Christmas Nativity weeks from mid November. If you visit the farmyard in December you will get the chance to see wonderful family nativity plays in the barn.
