This was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and where she first courted Henry VIII - and the castle, garden and lakes were restored in the early 20th century. The gardens are extensive, and there's a maze, adventure playground, secret Grottos and a water maze which is perfect for hot sunny days (bring a change of clothes)! Castle open Mar- Nov 11-5pm daily. Admission for castle and garden £8.40 adult, £4.60 5-16yrs and free for under 5s.
