At Tate Britain, families can explore with the free Spot the Circle discovery trail. At weekends and during the school holidays, discover new and unusual materials on the new Art Trolley, then head off to the galleries to imagine, draw, snip and stick. Get creative at workshop sessions or during BP Saturdays, when the gallery hosts a day of fantastic events. Family friendly facilities include buggy parking, baby changing and tasty, healthy treats in the café and restaurant.
We strongly recommend you ring Tate Britain before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for Tate Britain, www.tate.org.uk/families, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if Tate Britain hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
