Dulwich Picture Gallery houses one of the world's most important collections of European old master paintings of the 1600s and 1700s. It's set in the heart of leafy Dulwich the gallery offers a quick fix for parents needing visual refreshment and it opens into Dulwich park afterwards so you can take a stroll and let your children run about. Good café with highchairs. They also run drop-in art workshops for children. Open 10am-5pm Tues- Fri, 11am-5pm Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays.
