Housed in an award winning building on the Falmouth harbour-side, the National Maritime Museum takes you into the world of small boats and Cornish Maritime History. Many of the attractions are a little advanced for the under fives visit the tidal zone area where you can go under water and look out into the harbour through two large windows. You might catch a glimpse of a commorant diving or crabs, shrimps and much more. Open daily from 10am-5pm, (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day).

We strongly recommend you ring National Maritime Museum before you set off on your family day out, to make sure they are open and to confirm admission prices. It may also be worth visiting the website for National Maritime Museum, www.nmmc.co.uk, to see if there are any special events on the day for which you may have to book a ticket. Please also be aware that if National Maritime Museum hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
