The school is set in 9 acres of beautiful grounds and built around a stunning Manor House.  Classrooms are light, spacious and airy and facilities include 3 ICT suites, two school halls, science lab, art and design studios, cookery room, dining room, music rooms, library, medical room, all-weather tennis/netball courts and sports fields, not to mention the trim trail and ample parking. 

The Early Years are very well catered for in three separate, age-appropriate settings.  The two year olds are welcomed into a homely converted cottage (Pre-Nursery) with its own walled garden and can attend on a very part-time, flexible basis, depending upon families working and personal commitments.  The three year olds attend our main purpose-built Nursery, which runs in a similar way to Pre-Nursery by a team of caring, qualified, enthusiastic professionals. 

Specialist teaching in Music and PE begins at age 2 and more specialist teaching is incorporated throughout the school with each passing year until the children reach the final two years of the school, when they are completely taught by specialists in all areas of the curriculum, more senior school style in preparation for their next move. 

Trips, visitors and residential excursions are all part of everyday life.  Drama productions are many and varied and enjoyed by all.  The Music Department is home to a number of orchestras, choirs, flute groups, string ensembles and more, to suit the changing needs of each of our musicians. 

Our boys, who have enjoyed a co-ed start to their education usually move on to Abingdon Prep aged 7 and our girls remain with us until age 11, moving on to a variety of excellent senior schools, both boarding and day.
