Situated in the Walled Garden of Lowther Castle which is surrounded by unspoiled parkland, there are over 150 falcons, hawks, buzzards and owls from the UK and abroad. The birds are all exercised daily in flying demonstrations which take place every afternoon, each display sometimes lasting about two hours. Please also be aware that if Lakeland Bird of Prey Centre hosts birthday parties, this may limit the access in the cafe/restaurant areas.
