This year, there are a number of brand new movies being released just in time for the Christmas holidays. We suggest wrapping up the family and taking an outing to your nearest cinema for an afternoon treat. Grab a bucket of popcorn and your favourite pick ‘n’ mix while you settle down to some of the Christmassy offerings Hollywood has in store for us this year.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn(PG) releasedSpielberg’s latest offering is a motion-capture animated adventure based on Hergé’s famed comic books, with Jamie Bell voicing Tintin. When the boy reporter buys a model ship called The Unicorn at a flea market, he finds himself pursued by a group of crooks intent on reclaiming the treasure map concealed in the ship’s mast. A worldwide treasure hunt duly follows, involving Captain Haddock, Thompson &Thomson, and the ever-loveable Snowy the dog. |
